In the wake of
Arthur's death the land of Britain was gripped by foreign invaders. Into this maelstrom came a man of God. His actions rippled
down the centuries as the Meverall Family raised the building called Halleswell Hall.
They built not
just a grand house, but a family name that would last for many centuries. Good or bad, the family prospered, through iniquity
and shame, through the ravages of disease of both the body and soul.
On a certain night the family was
cursed, but roots dig deep and the Meverall family are not yet ready to give up their family home.
A house will know many owners in its lifetime.
Some houses hold a wealth of history in their souls. Halleswell Hall is one such residence. The home of the Meverall
family for five hundred years Halleswell has many a tale to weave. Halleswell has seen them all.
Like any other family the Meverall’s
had their times of good and evil. Maybe by God's grace the good out weighed the ill. In a time far in the future a child holds
the balance between the two. What then will be the outcome? We can only guess. Ghosts
and murder haunted the Meverall clan. Pirates and Kings Men, all called Halleswell home.
Love found and love lost, such were their fortunes and Halleswell hall has been host to them all.
